Food sensitivities update
After having spaghetti with marinara sauce and some pine-orange-banana juice, I think it's safe to say that Gavin is not sensitive to my eating acidic foods. Whew. That adds a few possibilities to my lunches and dinners. On the other hand, all the food that was previously in our pantry (and not obviously infested with nasty bugs) has been put in the deep freezer for the week in an attempt to kill any eggs or random larvae that happen to be in the packaging (except for cans and other things that can't go in the freezer). So, I still have eating dilemmas this week.

Hello Michelle!!
This is Nicole, your husband's cousin Jeremiah's wife. I found your blog kind of by accident after searching for and reading some reviews of Paul's book and one of them linked to Chad's blog. Small world huh?
I just wanted to comment and congratulate you (late) on your new son! He is adorable!
I bet you are so happy to have some more food choices again. I'd have a hard time having to limit things like that! So far so good though!
Yay for adding food back!
I had a minor infestation of those nasty bugs this summer when I fell out of the habit of freezing my grains for 24 hours after I bought them and wasn't cooking so much so food wasn't being rotated through as fast.
Yuck, I hate those things. They are never nice to deal with, you have lots of my sympathy. Hope they are all gone for good.
