This Thanksgiving was a relatively small gathering for us - there were the 12 of us who belong to Chad's immediate family (in the photo above, Chad's two parents on either side, their six children, and two daughter-in-laws, who are holding their two grandchildren) and 3 of Chad's aunt's family (aunt, uncle and cousin). I think it's funny that it felt a small and intimate Thanksgiving get-together, since 15 people is most likely more than any Thanksgiving gathering my side of the family has ever had. I like big families, or, at least, the big family I married into. I guess a big family would be a drag if you didn't like your relatives, but it's great when you like all them a lot.
