For my birthday yesterday, I got a little time to myself to do whatever I felt like doing. Since it was a beautiful, warm day out, I decided to take a walk armed with my camera and photograph whatever struck my fancy within just a few blocks of my house. My 8-block walk probably took me 45 minutes, but it was nice to use the creative side of my brain for a little bit! Here's what I found (my personal favorite is the green leaf, although the first photo (a tree branch) is a very close second):

Beautiful pictures. I really like the green leaf photo, too. What a fun thing to do on your Birthday! One of these days we'll have to go on a photographic outing together.
